Clinical negligence lawyers or personal injury specialists in particular may be acting for children and young people who have suffered birth and brain injuries, resulting in varying degrees of disabilities.
These children and young people will require assistance with their education, including specialist therapies and equipment, which will need to be detailed in an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) to achieve the very best outcome for them.
Although clinical negligence and personal injury lawyers may be specialists in their specific field, they may not be as aware of how to support their young client’s future educational needs. Conducted by Shoosmiths education law experts, the seminar will describe the legal process involved, covering the content of Education Health Care Plans and how to ensure the provisions detailed in the plan are legally enforceable.
The event is free of charge and includes a light breakfast of tea, coffee and pastries.
- When: Thursday, 24 May 2018 8 a.m. – 9.30 a.m.
