Event: Transitions Cerebral Palsy From childhood to adulthood

16 March 2023

Whilst the parents of babies and children with cerebral palsy find that support may be accessible, as those children move through their teenage years to young adulthood such assistance can become less available.

Once out of full-time education, support for young people with cerebral palsy may fall away completely. This raises huge challenges for families who are helping their child to navigate a time of transition that even youngsters without these problems can find difficult.

Join us on Wednesday, 24 May 2023 at our offices in London, or virtually online, to hear from parents with lived experience and experts in brain injury who will be discussing the challenges that young people with cerebral palsy and their families face in the transition from childhood to adulthood and how to handle them.
