Award for amputation following motorbike accident
We helped Darren Pugh after he was involved in a motorbike accident that resulted in a below knee amputation. A driver had failed to stop at a junction and slammed straight into his bike causing life changing injuries.
Darren was riding his Honda motorbike on the A38 Parkway in Plymouth and had just taken the turn off Parkway into the Western Mill slipway when a Jeep Cherokee slammed straight into him. The Jeep driver was going too fast and drove out of the junction without looking.
